Terms of Service

Welcome to gearshare! These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of rental and lending of hobby equipment, purchase of courses and guides, and acquisition of physical items through gearshare. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Definitions

• Rental Services: Short-term use of hobby equipment such as cameras, tents, and tools.
• Info Products: Digital courses, guides, and tutorials provided through our platform.
• Goods: Physical items available for purchase.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering legal agreements to use gearshare.

3. Account Registration

When you create an account, you agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials.

4. Fees and Charges

Fees for rental services, info products, and goods are displayed at the time of booking or purchase. All charges are processed using secure payment processors. You must provide valid payment details to complete any transaction.

5. Refund Policy

5.1 Rental Services

For hobby equipment rentals, you may request a refund of the paid fee if you cancel at least 48 hours before the rental start time. Refunds are issued via the original payment method within 7 business days of approval. If cancellation is requested less than 48 hours before, no refund will be granted, as equipment preparation and scheduling costs have been incurred. You may reschedule a rental once at no extra fee if requested at least 48 hours before the start time.

5.2 Info Products

Access to digital courses, guides, and tutorials is granted immediately upon purchase. Due to the instant delivery of digital content, all sales are final and non-refundable. We encourage you to review available previews or samples before purchasing.

5.3 Goods

Physical items purchased may be sent back within 30 days of delivery. Items must be in original condition and shipped at your cost. Refunds are processed via the original payment method within 10 business days of our receipt and inspection of the item. If the item is not in original condition, no refund will be issued.

6. Cancellation and Rescheduling

You may cancel or reschedule rental services as described in Section 5.1. Info product sales cannot be canceled. For goods, follow the process in Section 5.3.

7. Limitation of Liability

gearshare will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or special damages arising out of or in connection with these terms or your use of the platform.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
