Creating a listing is simple. Sign in, provide a clear description and photos of your item, set your daily rate, and choose availability dates. Once approved, your gear will be live for renters to discover.

gearshare supports a wide range of hobby equipment, including DSLR and mirrorless cameras, lenses, tripods, tents, sleeping bags, camping stoves, power drills, saws and other workshop tools, audio recorders, portable projectors and more.

Lenders set their own daily or weekend rates based on the condition, brand and demand for each item. gearshare encourages competitive rates by showing average prices for similar gear in your area.

After booking, you and the lender agree on a pickup or drop-off location and time. You can meet in person or arrange a safe public spot. Return follows the same process to ensure both parties are satisfied.

If any issue arises, contact gearshare support immediately. We’ll guide both parties through the resolution process using our optional protection plan, which covers accidental damage fees up to the chosen protection tier.

No. gearshare has no monthly subscriptions. You pay only when you rent gear or earn rental income by sharing your equipment.
